"We really enjoyed the flat. Enjoyed the inner courtyard and having it on the ground floor. Very close to parking. Making dinners at home is always enjoyable and then walking on the wall to gelato is a highlight. The air con in the bedrooms was great! And having a bathroom on each level is rare. "We truly loved our stay at Bel Sogno. We stayed 5 nights with friends and did not want to leave. The Villa was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. "The unit was clean and spacious. Central location in the historical district. Near bus. stops and the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The only complaints that we have is that the bathroom sink drain was very slow and it took about 3 days and a few reminders to fix it. That was very inconvenient. Also, no hand towels or dish towels. The first few days the towels were locked up too."

They shared their own wine and olives with us, provided fresh herbs from their garden for our dinner and welcomed us into their family. "We stayed in Lucca for two nights and LOVED this location. Very comfortable apartment. Bedrooms and bathrooms came well equipped. Living space is lovely. Easy to rent bikes and ride/walk the wall. Lots of local places to shop for food, farmacy, drinks and shopping just steps from the front door. Easy and quick communication with Gianluca, and Isabella.
