I love everything about this place especially for the price. I honestly never heard about Idyllwild until I came across this property on Expedia. The photos don’t do justice on how clean, beautiful and serene this place is. Plus, the staff are so amazing and accommodating. They communicate very well through text which makes it all the more efficient. I’ll definitely come back.

This property was easy to look at. The mattress on my bed was lumpy. There was an issue that I needed help with but was unable to get anyone at the front desk after 9:00 p.m. The main roads around the cabins were plowed for snow but the walkways were left unattended. I slipped twice getting to my car the day I checked out.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was a converted hanger, clean and nicely decorated. The grounds are lovely and have it all, pickleball courts, a chapel, a pool, and a restaurant. We really enjoyed trying some local places in town instead of eating at the restaurant every meal, but it is convenient. My only qualms were 1. No hottub (at least that i found), 2. Sun filled room early am bcs lack of thick shades. That being said i would stay here again.

Cabins are beautiful and always clean. Restaurant service terrible. Server walk right over gave us a menue and was ready to take our order, we asked for a couple of minutes, he walked past many times on his way to collect signed checks [5checks). Nn eyes cintact and then made us wait extremely long to take our order. I received my food but my boyfriend did not. The side of potatoes was very cold and dry..servers answer "ok". No apologies, didn't offer removal from check or replacement... gave me wrong information on how the food was cooked.. manager confirmed and i was able to eat it. Will not return to restaurant again. The property was large enough to walk around and I liked that there were a lot of different activities. The negative was it was a bit loud at night and the shower needs to be remodeled. The heater would not turn off and the bathroom was super cold like it was missing insulation. It was so cold outside that a hot tub would have been nice. For it to be a retreat it would of been nice to have a sauna or stream room.
