"Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay."

"Our Holiday in grou was wonderful. The house was really well equipped and big enoug for all of our family + our dogs. The garden is surrounded by fences and hedges. That gives you a lot of privacy and you don`t have to worry about the dogs. The garden is big enough for playing tabletennis and badminton, which we did a lot :-) Moreover there is a little ferry 5 minutes away, which brings you to the city center for shopping or visiting restaurants or doing some waterspouts. We really recommend...

"This quiet back-water close to the town of Makkum makes an ideal base for chilling out and communing with nature. For the bird-lover the area teems with wildfowl. We heard a Bittern. We used the spacious accommodation as a base for cycling and were not disappointed. The hosts were kind and considerate. Home-produce was available from this small-holding."

"Wir hatten wundervolle Tage in diesem Haus. Es ist sauber, groß und hat einen tollen - und für uns sehr wichtig - komplett umzäunten Garten, sogar mit kindersicheren Türöffnern am Gartentor. Man ist mit Fahrrad oder Auto schnell am nächsten Supermarkt im Nachbarort. Sogar ein kleiner Strand ist um die Ecke - toll zum im Sand buddeln oder schnellen abkühlen im Wasser. Wir kommen wieder :)"
