Best all-around view from the fantastic upper terrace of the living room and bedroom: a gorgeous view of the island dominating volcano Teide and the green coast dropping into the ocean. An extra-large lower terrace with a private pool and porched lounge area.

The villa-apartment is divided into two bedrooms: master with king size bed and ensuite bathroom, 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and separate bathroom

Discover the island, explore its nature and culture and come back to an elegant, well-designed home. Have a glass of champagne from the in-house wine cellar in your private heated saltwater pool or relax in one of your apartment’s different outdoor spaces: lounge area, the outdoor breakfast table, the outdoor kitchen area under the architectural pergola, etc.
Nested on a hillside between the base of the volcano and the ocean your apartment and terrace offers one of the most stunning view of the whole island: the green north coast with its spectacular sunsets and the massive volcano Teide, to the other side.
The apartment is a separate part of the villa in the very private neighbourhood. Beach and town are only a 3-min drive away. The kids are going to love the small local beach with black sand and a couple small Spanish restaurants right on the ocean and everybody loves the colonial town with its cafés and restaurants. It is a perfect home base to explore the island.

You want to enjoy your vacation and not worry about anything, so we include the following services: Wifi, personal concierge service, final cleaning, beach/pool & bathroom towels, bathroom amenities, linen, safety box, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher and washing machine tabs, spices in the kitchen.

No TV (unless requested for long stays)

We love personally meeting our guests, giving some advice on the island, answering questions and having a glass of wine with them.

The villas are located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, a 3 minutes drive from the beach with its restaurants and three minutes up the mountain into town. It is perfectly located for exploring the island and for hiking.

Icod de los Vinos sits right in the center of the emerald coast, known for its wines and colonial architecture. It lays just under the national park with plenty of hiking opportunities. Its beach, with its small restaurants and the coastal residential areas are called San Marcos and this is where Alberto Dorner is located.

Nearby: beach and restaurants, shopping, groceries, golf, tennis, hiking, yachting, colonial town center with cafes, medical facilities, pharmacy.

The south airport is about 1 hour drive away, and the north airport is about a 45 minutes

Absolutelly perfect!
For once an accommodation that looks exactly like the website photos in real life! Beautiful apartment with amazing views and in a lovely setting. Well furnished, very clean and the additional touches such as massages etc... are also great. Also worth trying the local wines from the bodega, which were delicious. Only thing to note is that you really do need a car (it is walkable to nearest town but not ideal), while the apartment is up two flights of stairs so worth knowing if you have a pram / are less mobile etc... We knew this all when booking so no issues, but worth knowing... Absolutelly loved our stay and would definitely return!

Buenisimo el único inconveniente que vi para lo que se paga como nosotros que fuimos un fin de semana que pagas por dos días y no es haci son solo día y medio porque entras a las 2y tienes que salir a las 10 no te dejaban ni descansas la mañana del domingo porque justo a las 10 están esperando las señoras de la limpieza de lo demás buenisimo

Hemos estado 3 días, bueno no llega, ya que, en mi caso entre un viernes a las 14 y salí, el domingo a las 10. Las fotos son exactamente igual que el apartamento, pero la cocina exterior no funcionaba, me facilitaron la opción de barbacoa, pero tardarían así que decidimos que no, y la piscina tiene opción de ponerle hidromasaje, lo cual no está incluido en la descripción. Funcionó el primer día pero a las dos horas dejo de hacerlo y por lo tanto, nose si derivado a eso, el agua ya ko estaba caliente, cosa que si comentan es que es climatizada, y no tenía luz por la noche, y en las fotos si.

A wonderful place to stay – Tenerifes best views?
We just spent a great week in apt. H. The apartment is super, beautiful décor and lots of nice details. And the huge outdoor area with a fantastic view from the top of Teide, down the Icod Valley, and over the northwest coast of Tenerife is simply breathtaking. Pure mindfulness. We loved stepping outside in the morning and have breakfast with a view, before going for long hikes in the beautiful landscape, dine in small family owned restaurants and shop for necessities in the charming town of Icod. We can highly recommend Alberto Dorner. The place, the welcome and the attention to details etc. We already look forward to our next stay.

Superbes vacances de 3 semaines avec notre fille de 8 ans ! La location était conforme à la description voir même mieux ! car à notre arrivée, il y avait une coupe de fruits frais, une bouteille d'eau fraiche, une bouteille de vin de la région et des sacs de glaçons dans le congélateur. De plus, nous avons eu droit aux chaussons et peignoirs comme à l'hôtel et le ménage était fait une fois par semaine : que du bonheur... Appartement très propre, très lumineux et calme si vos voisins le sont aussi...(Il faut savoir que toute la résidence est majoritairement occupé par des allemands et des espagnols) La vue sur la mer et le Mont Teide est splendide ! Le propriétaire est venu nous rendre visite, pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue avec une bouteille du vignoble de son père, il nous a donné de supers conseils pour les visites et si vous le souhaitez, sa femme peut s'occuper de toutes vos réservations si vous ne voulez pas vous embêter avec cela. La location est très bien située car c'est vraiment dans le nord de lîle que se trouvent les plus beaux villages et villes. De plus si vous avez des enfants, il y a le 2 ème parc le plus grand d'Europe situé à 20 min en voiture de l'appartement. A savoir : le soleil est moins présent dans le nord que le sud mais cela suffit pour apprécier la piscine (25°) sur la terrasse. Une location de ce type est une alternative de choix pour ceux qui ne veulent pas les gros hôtels du sud et au soleil à tout prix !

Toller Ausblick, schöne Einrichtung
Schönes Appartement mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer und auf den Teide. Neuwertige Einrichtung. Herzlicher Empfang trotz 3 stündiger verspätung. Appartements sind hellhörig. 5 min zum Strand mit dem Auto Cafes und Restaurants in icod waren eher enttäuschend, besser nach garachico fahren.

ein Wohlfühl-Appartement
Es war alles so, wie beschrieben. Die Aussicht ist wundervoll und die Ausstattung ist vollständig. Ein paar Dinge empfanden wir als verbesserungsfähig. So fehlten uns vor allem Ablagemöglichkeiten für Jacken und Kleidung, es gibt keine Garderobe. Ein paar Kommoden oder einfach ein paar Stühle den Schlafzimmern wären schon eine prima Abhilfe. Im Wohnzimmer wäre ein Rollo oder eine Gardine angenehm. Jetzt sitzt man auf den bequemen Sofas etwas auf dem Präsentierteller. Das war es aber auch schon mit der Kritik. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut, der Empfangskorb mit Brot und Wein entspannte die Ankunft. Den Pool haben wir leider in unserer einen Woche nicht wirklich nutzen können, das Wetter Ende Februar 2016 nicht ganz so toll wie gewöhnlich. Die Ausstattung der beiden Terrassen mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegen ist sehr gut. Der nahe Strand von San Marco ist auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar, wenn man die vielen Treppen nicht scheut, die es zu überwinden gilt. Die Restauration am Strand ist gut. Wir können das Appartement uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Great authentic experience
We stayed in this villa in January 2015 for a week in a group of 4 adults with 2 babies - and it was a fantastic experience! What we liked: - The villa is brand new and very well equipped and has everything a family may need (dishwasher, washing machine, baby cods, TV with USB drive etc) - Fantastic vistas from the terrace - from the coastline to Teide - Very spacious sun terrace with pool and BBQ - The owners are exceptionally friendly and hospitable people - checked a few times if evertyhign was ok and showed us around, greeted us with a basket of food and vine (very convenient when you arrive late at night!) - Modern but cosy living room with TV and minibar:) - 5 minutes drive from nice Playa San Marcos - Local hidden treasure - bike route (good for joggin as well) within 5 minutes from the villa which may take you up to Garachico through banana plantations and rocky cliffs - highly recommend! - Parking in the garage or in the street next to villas entrance - So many great places to visit on the Northern shore coastline of Tenerife within 30-45 minutes' drive Things to keep in mind: - You need to go up the stairs to get to the apartment which wasn't much of a problem for us even with babies - You do need a car to get around (as in most other parts of the island) We would love to come back one day!
