El Rincón with Teide view III

The holiday home is located in a small family building with 5 vacation rental homes in a well-connected area just 2 km away from the center of Icod de Los Vinos. It is the largest apartment of the 5 and faces the street. The view of Mount Teide and the mountains that surround it is spectacular. It has a large living room, an integrated kitchen that is fully equipped, a master bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with two separate beds, a full bathroom and a small balcony. It is an ideal place for couples or families, as well as for large groups who want to rent several apartments to travel together. Hiking enthusiasts will find the famous Cueva del Viento 1,500 m away and multiple trails in the vicinity. The old town with the Drago Milenario is 2.3 km away and the Playa San Marcos beach is only 10 minutes away by car. The renowned restaurant "El Rincón" is owned by the owner of the apartments, so we recommend a visit to enjoy tasting typical Canarian cuisine with special discounts only for our guests.
It is expressly forbidden to hold events and parties, as well as the access of people not listed in the reservervation. It is also requested to respect the neighbours, not making noise from 22.00h. onwards.

Bel appartement. Manque équipements.
Appartement spacieux et propre, mais manque flagrant d'équipements. 1 rouleau de papier toilette. Pas d'éponge pour faire la vaisselle. Poêles de cuisson inutilisables car très vieilles et dangereuses pour la santé. Un four mais aucun plat pour le four. Bref équipements à revoir

Nichts für lärm und kälteempfindliche Menschen
Wir haben das Apartment zu zweit bewohnt. Unser Reisezeitraum war Ende März und die Temperatur lagen derzeit bei ca 18°C tagsüber mit starkem, kalten Wind und nachts bei ca 14 °C. Die Wohung ist nicht beheizt und gefliest, die Fenster undicht und es war demnach sehr kalt. Zur Verfügung gestellt wurde ein kleiner Gasofen, der jedoch erst nach mehreren Stunden eine Wärme im großen Wohnzimmer verschaffte. Die Küche ist mäßig ausgestattet, oft nur mit 2 statt 4 Exemplaren (zb Tassen) Das ärgerlichste war der Wasserboiler mit einem Fassungsvermögen von ca 50l. Es konnte eine Person duschen, nicht so lange man wollte, aber es reichte soebend. Die zweite Person musste ca 1 h warten. Die Badewanne hat man nicht damit voll bekommen (wozu dann eine?) und wie vier Personen hier klar kommen ist mir ein Rätsel.. Das warme Wasser kondensierte durch die niedrigen Temperaturen sorfort wodurch das Bad immer feucht war und man sich kaum zurecht machen konnte. Die Feuchtigkeit breitete sich natürlich noch in der Wohung aus, und man konnte keine Wäsche trocknen, außer man hängte sie vor den Gasofen. Den ganzen Tag, sogar bis spät in die Nacht, rasen Motaradfahrer vor dem Fenster vorbei. Wer von sowas aufwacht, hat keine ruhige Nacht.... Der Kontakt sollte angeblich deutsch/englisch sein. Vorort spricht jedoch keiner ein Wort. Demnach kam es, als wir die Funktionalität des Boilers in Frage stellten, zu Verständigungsproblemen. Positiv war, dass wir auf unseren Wunsch hin ein kleines Abendessen bekamen, da wir nach 23 Uhr angereist waren. Der Austausch des Boilers ging auch sehr schnell und reibungslos, änderte nur leider nichts an der Problematik. Der Ausblick auf den Teide ist jedoch eine schöne Sache beim Frühstück...
