"We had Suite Room B and it was very spacious and well maintained. Rurikoh had many good services (free shuttle to/from Kagaonsen train station, spa w/massages, outdoor foot onsen, taiko drum performance, free afternoon snacks), a beautiful outdoor onsen and large indoor one, very good traditional Japanese breakfast, and very welcoming staff. A short walk (approx 8 min) to several grocery stores and restaurants."

"We enjoyed being able to watch the river as we bathed in the open air bath. Plenty of amenities provided, staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was lovely and spacious. Japanese breakfast was huge and delicious and it was wonderful to try some regional specialities."

"This hotel room was comparable to a Western hotel room, in that it was spacious, with a larger tub, but fewer free amenities provided. Very powerful air conditioner was a nice break from the heat."
