"This was a return visit for us and our dog. It's a lovely location, with scenic walks for the dog, aubreys restaurant for us and the activities and family disco for the little one. Our Heartwood lodge was spotless and the doggie welcome pack was very much appreciated (our dog loved the little rope toy!) "Wanted a short break away this year as our planned holiday was not possible. Price was great, owner kept in touch with us well and explained all the extra measures they had put it place to comply with Covid regs. Would definitely use again."

"We enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to town and local shops/restaurants. Enjoyed being able to have facilities to make our own breakfast, although there is a restaurant downstairs. The shower was brilliant, water pressure was really good and the soaps provided were lovely. If we would niggle at anything it was the kettle took ages to boil, the loft bed light didn't work and the wall had some staining on it. But other than that a great night's sleep!"

"The house has everything you need and more. Plenty of room and cosy. Close to the beach and shops so no need to drive."

"Beautiful thatched cottage, large enough to accommodate 4 generations over the Christmas period. Great communication with the property manager, always very responsive and willing to call round and answer any questions. Easy access to the hot tub was especially appreciated. Location of the property is excellent to access activities without a long drive. We stayed 11 days and didn't run out of things to do and places to visit.
