"A lovely hotel in wild, tranquil surroundings. Food was excellent, albeit a limited choice. For a holiday hotel, breakfast finishing at 10.00. was annoying, especially on weekends. Bed and room were small but comfortable and had most everything you needed, except tissues. On the downside, the lighting throughout the hotel is dreadful, especially the restaurant, but there is absolutely nowhere where you can sit and read, even in the bedrooms.. "Beautiful unique location in a valley along a river surrounded by steaming mountains. On site restaurant was fabulous with some of the dishes cooked in the hotels hot spring. Service was excellent. The facilities seemed a little run down but clean. Pool was out of service but hot pots were excellent. "
