"Good value hotel. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms are a little small but comfortable beds and pillows. My only complaint is not the hotel’s fault, that is, there is a mosque nearby that provides 4 am serenading each morning."

"Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. "The staff of this hotel were very nice. However, it’s not worth the money paid. The breakfast was an egg, a few pieces of oranges and apples, two pieces of white break and a mini hot dog. I had to go to the neighborhood supermarket afterwards to get additional nourishment. The bed was as hard as a rock. Very noisy room with sounds from the traffic below. But the staff, again, made the day. Extremely friendly people. "

"I liked the elevator to reach my room on the third floor. I also liked being close to the Red Wave supermarket in the area. However, my room was pretty noisy both at night and in the early morning. There were strange noises coming from upstairs early morning. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful."

"Good things. 1. 2-3mins from the beach which was lovely. 2. Staff were nice. 3. Airport shuttle (to and fro) was $20 which was really good. Bad things. 1. Bad Internet service. 2. Food was not nice. Chinese restaurant with no spices and salt. Had to eat in a nearby restaurant with very fine dining. 3. Expedia messed up with communication, so we had originally booked for half board, however, this hotel doesn't offer half board. So glad we did not get half board cos the food was not nice at all...

"It was clean and comfortable as well as conveniently located. The staff was nice and very helpful. The restaurant weren’t so great despite the amazing service provided by the server. The room has a tiny balcony that gives you some fresh air despite a chair not fitting there. The room is basically equipped. "

"Everything was exactly as advertised. Quiet, private, walkable, clean, great food, friendly helpful staff. There was no expectation from staff regarding tipping. As part of the stay snorkel gear was provided by the marine sports shop and we kept in our bungalow villa. We had great snorkeling off our deck. I ever saw a sea turtle! Jesi & Bagos were our favorite staff. The food, drinks and service were top notch. Our stay was magical, truly a dream."

"My husband and I visited Varu by Atmosphere for my birthday. Such an amazing time! The service is top tier! Everyone is so nice and friendly. We stayed in an overwater villa with a private pool, and that was the best decision. Everything is so clean. Our house, Mazey, was awesome. He arranged a special birthday surprise for me. Aagy, my favorite server at Lime and Chili, was absolutely delightful! She was so kind and funny. If I ever have the opportunity to visit the Maldives again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!!"

"Everything is perfect for a wonderful vacation. Wifi is the only thing that needs to be upgraded, internet is shocking in some areas of the resort. On the other hand, you are away from market and any local city so the in resort activities and shop is bit expensive. "
