"Didn’t like that the hotel didn’t have a parking lot, but after getting here its staff welcomed us and our dog (even a treat bag) made it worth while. Hotel is decorated cool along with cleanliness. Makes a nice stay at a historic hotel. "

"Columbia Gorge Hotel is a true gem, and we are always thrilled to stay there. The classic touches like a real person to operate the elevator and bring the ice bucket to our room are delightful in this day. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The room was comfortable and the bed was great. People were all very friendly and helpful, and we love the Valentino posters and all the lovely classic art deco and art on the walls. The formal dining room is delightful, although was not in use when we were there. The dining area with view of the river is always a treat, and the breakfast was delicious. The fireplace room with free coffee is also a wonderful bit of old charm with modern amenities. Thanks for keeping this jewel of the Columbia operating in such style!"
