"Lovely hotel in a great location for York racecourse and a short taxi ride into the city centre (or 30 min walk). Rooms are very well appointed although the bathroom could be upgraded with dual flush toilet etc. Bed was very comfortable and noise was at a minimum. Staff are helpful and friendly. We like that the pool was open till 11pm"

"The river and bridge views from our room were a treat. The staff was very helpful with recommendations. This was a modern hotel on a historic city which was great for our needs. Breakfast was very nice with a large buffet full of choices. "
