"Note that the street address is a number AND a letter (we weren't told the letter part). Also note, there is a golf course between the property and the beach so it takes about 25 minutes to walk there - a pretty walk. We found a lake nearby with lovely picnicking spots."

"Apart from the dodgy exit due to flax leaves that need cutting back, this place was in a great location for heading out to all the gardens we visited. Also great for bike rides to Rotomanu and the coastal pathway. The house itself was basic, but had everything we needed including a very comfy bed"

"The property has livestock and guests need to look after these, which is highly inappropriate and has not been mentioned in any of the property descriptions. STAY AWAY if you allergic to pets, dirt (this place could do with as a good spring clean!!) and don't want to carry the burden of responsibility for someone else's pets/livestock. It also feels very strange to live in someone's house, were it appears the owners are coming back any minute (clothes hanging around, the house cat [Lucy - cheeky...

"Nice layout clean an tidy, just needed an extra bed, 6 of us an found couch bed too small.. prob more sorted to 4 or 5 people rather than 6"

"The property was tired and dirty, there were dead bugs inside and dog poo on the back lawn. The pool had a lot of dead bugs too. It was comfortable, and, the linen was clean, and lots of space for a big family/group to spread out in."
