"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees. When we got there, he was spot on. "

"This is a charming property, and the owners were extremely communicative and helpful! It is relatively close to Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks at a great price point. The living room, dining room and bedroom are very comfortable. It is a 100 year old cabin, and the clawfoot tub and kitchen show their age. That being said, I found this to be a very comfortable stay, and the owners have thought of everything to provide a rich experience for guests who stay here ... from basic kitchen supplies to an array of board games to an introductory video on the two local Parks. I suggest arriving before dark as the road to the cabin is on a very winding road requiring slow driving and some rather tight turns. All in all, a wonderful experience!!!"

"What you would expect from a mountain resort. Front desk and country store closes at 8 PM and the nearest food options (not great) are about 40 mins away. Buy some ramen from the store and spare yourself a drive. "
