"We loved our quick stay in Glade Hill! In town for a state bowling tournament, the location was great and the accommodations made for a restful night that we SO needed. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day. 10/10 recommend and will definitely try to stay here again if in the area. "

"The property is not maintained outside. Safety concerns for sure. Huge hole leading into dock. Sock needs to be power washed due to buildup it’s very slippery. Bricks, stones, 2x4s randomly placed trip hazards everywhere. Lawned not mowed. Trash wasn’t picked up from previous renters . Inside ok for a DIY, table unstable, plywood bench, bed support broken. "My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. "The house is in a great quiet location on a little cove of Smith Mountain Lake. It is away from things enough to have privacy but still not a long drive to stores, restaurants, etc. We were in town for a family wedding at a local venue. The house was good for myself, husband, daughter and son-in-law. I chose a pet friendly house so I could bring my oldest dog with me. However the stairs inside the house were too steep and slippery for him to use safely and I would also not recommend for anyone...
