"Staff was so nice. Check in was easy. Came in late late (1am) and the front door was locked. Had to buzz to get in (which I loved). Got in car, drove around to the side to park….came in the side door which was UNLOCKED. I didn’t like that. Defeats the purpose of a safe locked building. "

"My sister and I have an ongoing Thanksgiving tradition to get together on Thanksgiving weekend with our husbands. She lives in South Carolina and we live in Pennsylvania so Huddleston is almost the exact middle for both of us. My husband came across this cabin last minute and it could not have been more prefrontal suit our needs. I only wish it was warmer but we were quite content just hanging out and staying warm by the indoor fireplace. We will definitely be returning in the summer so that we can take advantage of the outdoor offerings. Great memories were made by all. "

"This is a lovely house and property on Witcher Creek. The backyard leads down to the dock and fishing there is so much fun! The house is very well kept and offers enough space for multigenerational families. You can see deer from the kitchen sink and at night there are so many stars! Some shooting stars too! The town of Moneta had some great offerings if you want but getting local.honey and local beef were some hoghlights. Overall this is a great retreat to get out of town and recharge! Donna is a great host and very quick to respond. A great trip! "

"This is the second year staying in this house for Thanksgiving. It is perfect for our family. There are plenty of bedrooms and spaces to hang out. The main kitchen is a dream to cook in. Having a second kitchen in the basement is perfect for those things that take a long time to cook as well as the extra counter prep space and fridge. The dining table fits everyone so we can all relax and enjoy our meal together. The view of the lake is fantastic and the patio makes it a lovely space to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. On clear nights there is minimal ambient light so perfect for stargazing. The owner was very responsive to communications with a couple minor issues we had. He was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to spending future Thanksgivings here when possible. "

"The cabin was perfect for my husband, our dog and I. It had everything we needed. The area was breathtaking! We couldn't have asked for a better spot. It was quiet and the views were amazing. This was our first time at SML and we are so glad we visited. We hope to be back next year with my husband's kids and their spouses for a family vacation. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with spectacular views of the lake and the mountains, this cabin is perfect!"
