We came down from out of state to a friends destination wedding. This place was everything we needed! So cozy, and close to everything. Not to mention waking up to be surrounded by such a beautiful lake!

Smith Mountain Lake is an amazing area, making our visit much more enjoyable was the property. Check-in was simple and very efficient and the property was very clean & organized. The host (Allison) was wonderful to communicate with and was extremely helpful to ensure our stay was wonderful.

I had a great stay at this condo. The host was great. The room was super clean and stylish. The resort is beautiful. The fitness room is amazing. Also really liked the bar/restaurant Bruno’s which is located with the golf pro shop. There are so many things to do within a short drive as well.

This spot was exactly as advertised. Small, comfortable. Easy to find and quiet . Beautiful views. Allison was the perfect Host. the unit was well stocked with everything you would need for a short stay. My only complaint would be the pillows and mattress were rather low quality and not super comfy.

Great little lake studio
The studio unit has everything you need for a quick little getaway. The property was immaculately clean and well-appointed with all the necessities. The property is beautiful and you can walk around to little courtyard beside the building and be right on the water. Bonus surprise is the unbelievably good water pressure in the shower! The hosts made sure we could access everything easily & maintained great communication to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you Allison & Michael!

Mother/Daughter Getaway
My daughter and I recently stayed here for 3 nights and cant say enough great things about this place. From start to finish it was a smooth process. The condo was clean,comfy, and the lake was beautiful. The food at the country club was all made in house and was really tasty. The property manager communicated with me the minute we arrived and followed up to see if all our needs were met and if we needed anything. If I could give this stay 10 stars I would. My daughter and I left with some great memories and memorable pictures.

Property is small and charming. Perfect for us and our pup. Bottom floor is convenient for dog outing. Allison was very helpful with suggestions of restaurants open on premises as well as other locations. Quick respose time as well. Beautiful setting at Smith Mountain Lake with lots to do and see. Beautiful vista of mountains from property. Great communication. We'll stay here again as needed to visit relatives in Bedford. Very conveniently licated only half hour away.

Room was convenient for pet—close to entrance and on main level but space was too small, bed should be placed on different wall to improve space. Very few kitchen utensils and no table to share a meal. Room is expensive for what you get—once fees, taxes, cleaning fees, etc. are tallied.

Get-away at Smith mountain lake
Unfortunately the new Starbucks was closed as well as the store which was really disappointing. Apparently the Wine Festival was a bit overwhelming for the resort. The first night both restaurants were closed. I am sure that this is not the norm. The other residents were very warm and welcoming.

Great weekend getaway
My wife and I along with our small dog recently stayed at Allison's condo for a long weekend. The property was very clean and Allison gave very detailed check-in instructions and replied to inquiries very quickly. Allison's condo was truly pet friendly, with pet waste stations on the property and no crating rules. One thing I would like to point out to other guests is that if you're visiting during the winter when the outdoor pool area is closed, there is an indoor pool and hot tub, but it is located a short drive up the road. We initially had trouble finding the indoor pool and hot tub since we were looking within the condo buildings. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Nice little get away
There is one pool on site with a hot tub that overlooks the lake. It was very nice. Right down from that is the private beach area that has chairs and chaise lounges available. Less than a half mile away is an indoor pool and hot tub and outdoor pool with slides and indoor free gaming area. The room was very clean, air condition blew cold. The hosts answered all questions and gave suggestions. Be aware that not all restaurants and event places are open earlier in the week. Great arcade at Bridgewater Marina. The only suggestion I would give to the owners is that a toaster would be a nice addition :)

Mariners Landing was a great location and amenities were top notch. A little disappointed in the unit. The freezer had ice build up and was unusable. I like that the unit was handicap accessible but would not be able to get a wheelchair in bathroom with cabinet in the way. Needs decent drapes and bedding definitely could us an upgrade. Kitchen was well furnished. Missed having outside area. So this would not be for us next time around.

Cozy Condo
This property ( Mariners Landing) is Quiet, Cozy and Comfy. It is a clean, crisp, and beautiful studio, perfect for a couple. It’s chic design made you want to cuddle up and take it easy. It is located on a main floor, convenient to outside, restaurants, overlook views of Smith Mountain Lake, and other amenities. It does not overlook the lake, but a few short steps will take you there. There is a sit-in gazebo, an outdoor pool and hot tub that overlooks the lake. It is relaxing and great for photo ops. Though not a golfer, but nearby is a golfer’s paradise. Allison was a most gracious host who was very helpful and communicative throughout the entire check-in process. She offered recommendations of restaurants and attractions in the area and was available if needed. We enjoyed our stay and were satisfied. We highly recommend our host Allison.
