We traveled as a group on bicycles - hotel allowed us to store bikes in basement garage. Very clean hotel. Rooms on small side. Great location. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great variety at breakfast. Would stay again.

Nice hotel close to station in Hsinchu
Stayed one night during a holiday weekend, helpful friendly staff (came up and helped me set up the TV, I had some issues). Nice room overlooked the park (deluxe double, highly recommend). Lots of variety at breakfast.

唯一一個小小缺點：浴缸沒有浴簾，而應該是設計來遮水的一片壓克力板不夠遮，洗完澡浴室地板會噴很濕。好在地板是有紋路的石面不會滑，且開抽風機很快就乾了。

I enjoyed my stay at Shin Yuan. The staff is friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent with many restaurants and shops within a short walking distance. The breakfast was good too. The room door is a little thin (could hear others opening and closing doors outside), and the lights in the room are a bit bright for me (I prefer some dim soft lighting at night). Would stay here again.

A business hotel in a quiet lane. The room was a little small and the shower area was a little dangerous to climb in and out especially if you were an elderly tenant. The surroundings were pretty with many eating options - so that was a big plus point.

Conveniently located to public transit, this Japanese style hotel was much more than expected! Comfortable bed, modern and clean, fine breakfast and a very kind staff. Front desk arranged taxis two days, walked me to the car door and bowed as I left. That is exceptional service!

Nice area of Hsinchu
The room was a bit small and bland, but the bathroom was nice. The soundproofing could have been better done, a lot of noise in the hallway kept me awake. Breakfast was quite good. The area was very convenient to the station and very nice. Excellent location.

Excellent hotel, great area & vibe, plenty to do
Very nice hotel in the downtown area of Hsinchu City. Great service and the staff makes you feel welcome as they would say "Hi" everyday. Lots of shopping and excellent restaurants in this busy area of the city. The hotel has some staff that speaks English. They will call a taxi if you need one and go out to it with you to tell the driver where you want to go. This is very important as most taxi drivers don't speak much English. The breakfast offers many types of food to please all. Would recommend staying there and I would again if I ever get the chance.
