"The staff was very helpful. After a long day getting there from the airport, they directed us to the nearest hot spring and provided us with an extra towel and robe. Their restaurant offered a good variety and the food was excellent. Our room was as described and the beds comfy! I highly recommend this property should you venture to the West Fjords for lodging or a meal."

"Great property with friendly staff. The room and the shared bathroom are very clean. The dining area and the kitchen on the second floor overlooks the sea with incredible view. The complementary breakfast is really good. There is a small library area with a lot of books for bookworms. The view from the living/dining room overlooking Vatnsfjordur and the Atlantic Ocean is serene and can't be beat for beauty. The location is very quiet with very little car traffic. "The pictures are misleading. We never saw that small cottage and we never saw that large dining room. Perhaps because there really wasn't much service.
