"Lovely owner was welcoming as we ate dinner at on site restaurant. Was a much needed respite from some crazy weather. Cozy and clean place to hunker down. Great food."

"Lovely place. Quiet little town that gives you a true feeling of being in the Iceland Fjords. The only issue we had was contacting the front desk ..they provided a phone number to contact them to let us know we had arrived but our data card wouldn't let me call it so I had to kick on our roaming services from home. "

"The pictures are misleading. We never saw that small cottage and we never saw that large dining room. Perhaps because there really wasn't much service. Everything was left up to the guests, including washing your own dishes and putting them away with the same towel that everyone else used. The rooms were too small, we could barely fit our suitcases. The location was quiet, but far from the nearest town and inconvenient if you need anything (like food). It's in an isolated area that is very...

"A nice little place with a decent breakfast. The shower, like all we found in Iceland, was small. The breakfast is up a, flight of steps (not a problem for us, just an FYI) this place worked well as a base for exploration. "

"One of our favorite stays in Iceland! We arrived pretty late into the night but there was no hassle checking in. Room was clean, bed was comfy! Take advantage of the hot tub, it was a treat soaking under the northern lights. To top it all off, a delicious complimentary breakfast buffet."

"No tv or radio in the room, tv is in the main/common area. Not much to do around town during winter. Our key lock box froze, but staff onsite were able to assist. The room was quite cold even with the heating on. The beds weren't very comfortable so we ended up leaving alot earlier than we had planned. The shower was nice, and tea and coffee provided was nice. "

"Great property with friendly staff. The room and the shared bathroom are very clean. The dining area and the kitchen on the second floor overlooks the sea with incredible view. The complementary breakfast is really good. There is a small library area with a lot of books for bookworms. Not far away from the property cross street from the church is a nice restaurant with great food, service and nice views as well. We had great stay here for one night and will definitely stay again when we come...

"The staff was very helpful. After a long day getting there from the airport, they directed us to the nearest hot spring and provided us with an extra towel and robe. Their restaurant offered a good variety and the food was excellent. Our room was as described and the beds comfy! I highly recommend this property should you venture to the West Fjords for lodging or a meal."

"It’s in a good location downtown, but you have to walk a few blocks from the main hotel where you check in and have breakfast. Nice breakfast though. There’s no staff on site. Street parking is a little tricky—we got lucky "

"The Latrabjarg Hotel was perfect for my night’s stay in Látrabjarg. On top of that, the owner, Karl, was very personable and made the stay feel charming & comfortable."

"The stay was fine. Room was comfortable it know that if you stay after September your food choices will be extremely limited. We drove to another fjord for pizza. Northern Loghts were amazing just outside of town. "

"Property was a little old but it was very cozy. I loved the different sections to chill around. For me the isolation of location was the best part. Breakfast was very good and people very amazing! This was my favourite stay during my vacation."

"The lady that checked us in was really friendly. On our arrival she kindly let us choose our room which was an upgraded version of the room we had booked. Our new room included a coffee machine and kettle. The view out of the window was amazing, we could see the ocean."

Ocean side resort

"The resort is excellent and lo ates right on the ocean. Had a few issues getting in to our room since its off season, staff is not onsite, and we were to let ourselves into our room. Some other people staying in the same building as us also left the common areas messed up. A quick phone call resolved all our issues and the resort upgraded us to a larger room because of the mess. In the end glad we chose the place and would recommend it to others."
