This was our first trip to Whitmore Lake - it was a darling sleepy town that I’m sure is teaming with life during the warmer months. "I was looking for a cabin to spend the weekend with my husband and 2 dogs. The cabin has a warm feel to it. It has games to play, hot tub and sauna. About 50 steps in the back yard is the fire pit then about 100ish steps to the pond. You can’t see the pond from the house but from the hot tub you can! The pond was awesome, there was 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and a paddle boat. The kitchen and bathroom are brand new and very nice. I unfortunately gave a two on cleanliness. There was some areas...

"Everything was great. The house was perfect for a girl’s weekend, plenty of space. The location was fantastic. The views around the house looking out toward the lake were stunning, especially in the morning and evenings when the sandhill cranes were out in the back yard. Even though the weather was cold and the lake was frozen, there was plenty to do. We will definitely consider rebooking in the summertime. Overall, we had a great time and the house worked perfectly for our trip."
