It was less than an hour drive to Holmes County and about an hour to Columbus. Mt. Vernon had plenty to entertain also. We enjoyed the fireworks in Mt. Vernon. "We stayed here to surprise our mom for her 60th birthday with a group of 8. Our hosts were communicative and responsive with all of my questions leading up to our stay. The house seems newly updated and it’s incredibly cute! Looks just like the pictures. The house was clean, we had plenty of towels, wash cloths, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The dock and outdoor areas were beyond perfect with plenty of seating and a gorgeous view. The ramp to the dock is quite steep...

"Spacious and well kept multi-bedroom condo in a nice residential area near a golf course. Short drive through back roads to Kenyon/Gambier. Perfect for families visiting their college kids, but would also be great for a crew of golfers."
