"The place is perfect for family getaways,very spacious rooms with beautiful views and big beds,the lapa was just a Perfect ending where everyone can unwind and swim too. one think I disliked was the manger his extremely rude and not friendly to people."

"Loved the place. It felt like we were in Italy. The restaurant for dinner is however extremely expensive. But we really enjoyed the stay."

"Great stay. Biggest challenge is that the rooms door was frosted glass and the night lights lit the room up like Armageddon. The team acted fast and turned off the lights for the remaining nights, which was much appreciated. Overall, food was good, service was a little slow but always well intentioned. "

"The property is not according to the booking information consequently it was bad to stay at this property "

"Passengers confirmed that the service was not great and the owner was not professional. When the guys got to the hotel, it was clear that it hasn’t functioned as one in a while. The owner of the ‘hotel’ even wanted to charge the guys R4k for a room with a double bed and a sleeper couch as, according to him, there were only 2 rooms available. "

"It is a small, quiet room. Unfortunately the person before us smoked in the room. I realize there is nothing the owner could do about it, but I hope they find out who stayed there before me in that room and block them from coming back. The tin of air freshener helped. "

"We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...
