Spent a week here with my wife and kids and my in-laws. Really enjoyed the hiking trails and disk golf. Kids loved their kids room. There was an assortment of outdoor games to use there. Property manager was easy to get a hold of when there was a slight issue during check in (which seemed to be a messaging issue on VRBO's end). House was really quaint and cozy. Beds and linens were clean and house seemed very well maintained. Fire circle was nice in the evenings and wood was provided. The house also had the best assortment of kitchenware of any place we ever stayed. During our stay we visited Great River Bluffs State Park, Winona, toured on the La Crosse Queen, picked apples in Galesville, WI at Ferguson's (great place for kids 1-10), and I road the gravel roads around Ridgeway, Witoka, Houston, Hart, Money Creek, and Hokah on my bike. Got to see professional cyclist Chase Wark ride by the house too, who was also in the gravel bike race I was in, in Hokah.
My only suggestions is to change the lights in the house from the cool blue lightbulbs to warm yellow bulbs (personal preference). Also add a few more homely touches to the farmhouse. Pictures of the farm through the years and the Smiths would be neat (I love learning the history of places).
