"One of the best house rental stays we have had. The house is even better than described. So thoughtfully decorated for beach fun and comfort. Beautiful lighting throughout the house, especially in the living room. The primary bedroom has indoor shutters so you can sleep through the bright morning, or nice sun shades so you can let the sun in as desired. The primary bed is electric and raises to your preference, there is even a zero gravity setting. We played scrabble by the fire on colder evenings (bring your own wood!). The house is well equipped with items you may need—we forgot our dog leashes and there were two leashes hanging by the front door. So many comfortable seating options indoors and outdoors. The house is full of board games and books to explore when you're not out exploring the beaches and dunes. The beach is a short hike over the dunes behind the house, you can hear the waves from the yard. There is an easier public path to the beach just down the road that doesn't require walking over the dunes. The neighborhood is delightful--full of beautiful clearly well-loved houses. The large yard is fully fenced in, so our dogs had a great time romping outside while we enjoyed sitting under the shade on the patio. Host was very attentive and quick to respond to questions.(Dog owners: The beach behind the house is not dog friendly, but there are several dog friendly beaches a very short drive away. Beware of beach burrs, foxtails, and ticks in the dunes.)"

"This property is a hidden gem for folks who want to really relax with family or a group of friends. It is a short walk to a beautiful beach and the location is perfect for exploring up and down the coastline. It has been stylishly remodeled inside. The stove is a little tricky to light but creates lots of warmth and atmosphere on foggy days. The studio apartment with its own kitchenette and TV is an extra bonus for groups or families with teens who want a little extra space buffer. Wifi worked well, but we didn't have any cell LTE signal. We were able to watch streaming tv by signing into our accounts. We did games and puzzles on the big dining table.Bedrooms are large and comfortable - lots of closet space.The kitchen was large and a nice place to make meals. Note that the cooktop is one of those flat glass ones that is pretty but instantly marked up with brown scorch marks when you use it -- the only way to clean it is with the special cooktop cleaner found under the sink.Also note that the main bedroom and living room have no curtains on some windows which is somewhat disconcerting at night."

"Cari’s home is clean, comfortable, warm, and has MANY perks. The views of the ocean from the front windows are incredible! We went to the tide pools across the street and found starfish, crabs, mussels, hermit crabs, little fish, a clam worm and so much more! Be aware that the path down is steep in places, but worth it. Over at Bodega Bay harbor, we had the good fortune of seeing an elusive weasel TWICE! We flew kites at Bodega Head, hiked, watched for whales, and enjoyed the sunset. Being in the hot tub after a day of hiking and tide-pooling was so pleasant. Cari is quick to respond to any questions and ensures your stay will be all that you need it to be. FYI: The Tides restaurant is NOT what it used to be."

"Absolutely loved our stay at this Bodega Bay beach house! The view of the ocean right outside the window and just down the hill was breathtaking. The open layout of the house made it feel so spacious and welcoming. The hot tub and steam room were the perfect touches for relaxing after a day of exploring the coast. Peaceful, clean, and everything we needed for a perfect getaway—can’t wait to come back!"
