"Our stay here was wonderful. The room was spotless and the staff were incredibly kind. The onsen is small (max 6 ppl) but that was never an issue. The included breakfast was a smallish buffet style of mostly western type foods, salads, scrambled eggs, yogurt, breads. The convenience of the location, minutes away from Gora station, made arriving and doing the Hakone loop so easy! Lovely spot overall. "

"I didn't realize this was a hostel. Pretty bummed when I showed up at the property and realized that. Not a fan of the checkin process- very cold, impersonal, and time consuming. "A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were fortunate to see Mt Fuji for two days of our stay. The onsen in the room was amazing, we used it twice a day or more, so relaxing.
