"Wonderful! Such a friendly welcome on arrival. Food was a delicious selection and although there’s no cocktail list they readily made whatever we wanted. It’s an idyllic & quintessential place with the original features preserved & a modern touch. The night we stayed was so cold so the log fires in the bar/eating area was lovely and the bedroom was perfect. Everything was so comfy we could’ve happily stayed a lot longer! "

"Overnight stay in cosy pub in Coalport. Although pub didnt open until 5pm, early room check in was available without issue . Clean room with comfy bed and everything you need for a short stay. "

"This is a wonderful if rambling hotel with lots of cosy seating and an excellent restaurant. The rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. This was our second visit and we will be back again in the future. "

"Great all round. I usually stay in three different hotels per week and this place is on my “will revisit” list. Comfortable & clean with friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated but the powerful hot shower and the super fast WiFi make up for that. Only tried one meal in the restaurant but the food was great too. "
