"Our boys fished the entire day and night away catching and releasing! There was plenty of outddoor space for a family get together. We had great host that answered any question we had. The house is exactlly as shown in pictures. The "cozy sleeping area" is just as much a bedroom as the others. We visit p.a often as i have family there! We have found our new everytime stay! With this home!"

"The property was in a beautiful location! It was very clean and cozy. Perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends. Even though the property was off the beaten path, there was a lot to do within 15-30 min drive. The host made great suggestions of what to see in the area! I would definitely stay at this property again. Maybe during the summer months to enjoy the lake a bit more, but I have no complaints!"

"The home is cute and was comfortable for our needs. It was clean and decorated nicely and had everything we needed. TVs galore, air conditioning and outstanding enclosed sun porch. It was minutes away from the University of Scranton. We enjoyed our 3 day stay for our daughters graduation."

"We simply loved our stay at this back country home. Our children loved the arcade and the pond. We had a scenic 20 minute drive to Elk Mt. Ski Resort. The check in was super smooth and the house sparkling clean. We cant wait to come again on our next ski trip to Elk!!!"

"House is decored like museum with lot of antique look like pieces and lot of furniture. Bed rooms are spead between 2nd floor and basement, most of the bedroom have individual air conditioner except bedrooms in basement. Kitchen is big enough with lot of utensils to cook your own food. Good enough light in the kitchen. Dining table is only for 8 people though total capacity of the house to stay is 23. Overall place is fine for the money you pay and if you are not looking for modern new look...

"Great place to stay. Cannot get any closer to Elk Mountain. Fireplace kept us warm. Beautiful home inside and out. The host left so many condiments (bottle of wine, etc.). Only downside was the strange showers & was very muddy due to the weather, not the hosts' fault of course. Dennis H"

"We enjoyed our week at Laceyvilla. The house was great for our family of 11. We walked down to the river a few times, but didn't take the kayaks to the location near the bridge. We found it was better to drive up to Creek side Park in Wyalusing to play in the water and enjoy God's creation. That park is only 10 miles up river, so I kayaked from the park back to the house twice. Took about 2 hours. We also found the Grovedale Winery was great for the whole family. They have a playground, small...
