"We loved our stay here. The cottage has loads of quirky architectural features. It's remote enough to see the stars in the hot tub on a clear night, but has a lot of towns and villages around to drive to for days out, plus local walks which were detailed in the welcome book. We mostly stayed cocooned in the cottage as it's so warm and snug. The cottage is situated in a working horse riding stable so during the day people are coming and going in front of the cottage as they arrive and depart, so...

"A fabulous stay in a well-appointed (and beautifully-decorated) room! The location was excellent, a short walk from all the historic sights, and I very much appreciated the ample wardrobe storage and the kitchenette. Check-in was straightforward and communication beforehand was thorough. The one thing I'd note is that the room was located on a road that saw some traffic in the mornings, so bear that in mind if you're an usually late and/or light sleeper. "Excellent value accommodation in an area where hotels etc are really expensive. Easy to check into reception, room is clean and has everything you’d need. It was very quiet and not many folk staying. Security is a bonus ….. we were really impressed and will come again. "
