"The place exceeded our expectations. Lawrence is a first class host. The place is really quirky and well worth the money. Leeuwarden is just a fantastic base in the north of the country and we made a visit to one of the Wadden Islands with a two hour ferry journey which was splendid. "

"Het personeel en de ontvangst was allervriendelijkst en zeer behulpzaam. De accommodatie was picobello in orde. Smaakvolle inrichting van het geheel, zowel binnen als buiten. Het samengaan van oud gebouw en nieuwe eigentijdse materialen is stijlvol toegepast. Het diner en ontbijt waren prima. Kortom, een heerlijk en ontspannen verblijf in een weldadig aandoende omgeving. Proficiat!!"

"Very nice hotel with a surprising good restaurant. The only confusing part was that they dont really have a check in desk. Its mostly a restaurant but very friendly and nice accommodations but you have to ask one of the waiters how to check in and they will direct you to a small desk in a corner and someone will help you."

"Super convenient location across Leeuwarden train station. It is a small boutique style hotel. I loved the Nespresso machine and the daily capsules complimentary refill, also nice emptied mini-fridge for use and kettle. Room was large and very clean. My room had an outdoor terrace but the view are not nice as they overlook vents and tubes from the restaurant next door. Heating worked perfectly fine. "
