After our first visit in HK and in this hotel in the middle of January 2024, which we liked, we booked it again, but this time it was completely different. We have never had such a bad room. It was an old room with old furniture and furnishings on the 7th floor. On the next 3 floors above, renovation work was being carried out every day from morning until 5 p.m. during our entire stay. There was knocking, hammering, drilling. The room did not match the category booked through Expedia. It did have a view of the harbor, but it was definitely not the room from the pictures in the booking confirmation. We were advised to check the rooms and room categories directly on the hotel website next time instead of via Expedia. Summarized the hotel and Expedia blamed each other for these "wrong" pictures. If you are taller than 180, you don't quite fit in the bed and your feet hang out. In any case, we paid far too much. If you deduct the discount (offer) for 5 nights with breakfast, we paid £1084.80, which is an average price of £216.96 per night. Only for our last night we received an offer to the room (as stated on the reservation confirmation), which we accepted. But unfortunately, after the way things went, we would never set foot in this hotel again!
