Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. "We recently had a 4 night stay at Dovecote house. A lovely house set in a primal location of all Alnwick local amenities. Upon arrival we were surprised by the size of the upstairs,3 double rooms, one twin and 2 bathrooms, just what we needed for a group of 7 adults 1 child, a baby and a dog . There were a few problems with the main bathroom, a bath that empties on its own whilst full, a light that was difficult to turn off and on and a unit around the sink which wasn’t attached. "We booked the property to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday so there were lots of people ranging from 2 months old to 102 years old! The house itself is fab and the accommodation on offer was great. Location is excellent being near Bolam Lake with some good walks. We had a few teething problems in terms of heating and some supplies but all in all had a good stay"

"We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. "5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. "
