"Had a lovely one night stay at the Dalmahoy. The rooms had everything we needed and were of an excellent standard. Comfy beds and very clean. The only major negative was that the radiator in our room was extremely loud and interrupted our sleep. I did not contact the reception though as we in the middle of the night. There was a bus stop at the end of the hotel drive so easy bus access into the city if required. The swimming pool is large and water lovely and warm. The changing rooms were also of a high standard with great shows and facilities. Would definately return."

"Great central location: excellent staff especially bar and dining room…however I found the number of homeless people in the main area of Edinburgh incredibly confronting and a constant reminder of how fortunate we are to be able to travel. But how do we address homelessness?"

"An excellent hotel, clean, comfortable and brilliantly located just under Edinburgh Castle (with a fabulous view of it too!) in the old town. Staff were friendly, professional and very helpful, especially the wonderful Estel. Also liked they have filtered water fountains on each floor so you can refill your water bottle for free. Can't rcommend this hotel enough, I'll definitely be back. "
