"Extremely friendly staff. Went above and beyond to get me a takeaway breakfast as I left for work before breakfast started. Friendly locals and other residents. Best part of my stay was seeing all the beautiful dogs allowed to stay.. Especially Jack. Such a gorgeous boy "

"The staff were excellent under alot of pressure as the menu was very very limited because they were let down badly by there suppliers due to the storms, but it did not stop them from performing their duties ."

"Good location, just 50m or so from the Quay front, great staff allround, but room was ok, but adequate only, for price charged. Dog friendly, which was critical for us, but £10 surcharge charged. Lack of hotel parking wasn't too much of an issue as large multistorey within c.400m, but does add any £10 cost to the visit"

"We had a lovely stay here. So Christmassy but even other times of year so cosy felt homely. Reception was very welcoming room was decorated lovely and really felt like a retreat away from it all. Fires and Christmas trees . We ate in the restaurant and all the food was hot and delicious. Location was very central for village visits and walks it was tough to choose whether to go out for walks or just stay in the hotel and relax. We are already planning our next trip back"

"Firstly we have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. The property is old and consequently does not have that modern minimalistic feel to it. I think the beds could do with replacing as you can feel the springs through the mattress topper. The stairs are a challenge on par with climbing Snowden. So why did we come back? "This property was so clean and well presented. There was a lot of thought gone into supplying everything we needed.We would highly recommend this cottage it is absolutely fantastic ."

"The property and staff are fantastic,the only thing I’ll do differently next time is change to a rear facing room as the sea view room we had was very noisy but that was obviously down to people enjoying themselves on a Saturday night.Unfortunately we had to leave early Sunday meaning we tried to get an early night but already looking forward to our next visit.
