"Lovely location and a lovely apartment with views all across. It is evident there has been attention to detail and amenities are admirable. Even a HDMI cable is there if needed and every room has TV which works great. A great location to visit Lake District. My son had misplaced his crocs so I called the owner as I made my way back to property- he took great care to inform the cleaners to search the property, it was a lovely gesture I thought."

"Our stay was wonderful, easy check in and a nice location where is isn’t overcrowded. Lovely lodge and it was spotless. The hot tubs are also a nice place to be in. Will definitely be looking to stay again. "

"The house is great, it had everything we needed and more! There were 8 adults sharing and it never felt cramped. The location is superb being located within a minute of the town centre. Good comms with the owner too. "

We were delighted to find it clean, comfortable and well located with just steps to the local Tesco, shops and restaurants. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The sheets and towels were luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped, so was the bathroom, and there was good storage. "Had a wonderful weekend away and this little gem is in the heart of the centre which is great. Very compact&quite small but very cute. Parked car opposite on paid carpark. Decor is beautiful,bit dark for applying make-up ladies and had trouble 1st day with no hot water but within 10mins it was sorted so all good. "

Spa break weekend

"The location and staff were amazing as was the unlimited breakfast!!! Dinner options were a tad pricey and limited choices with no bar snacks etc. The room was very clean but the mattress was showing its age with springs being felt coming through. The Spa is nice but again showing its age with tiles missing in the pool and obvious repairs here and there. The jets also were on a timer which needed constant restarting. We did notice a medical plaster left on the side of the pool for over 36 hours so not sure on the cleanliness of this area. The cushions of the loungers were also very soft/dated and needed replacing really. Overall very nice but search various sites for prices as we found varying levels with some over £100 more per night. "

"The hotel is located on the main road into Windermere and has its own parking. Check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful. I was a little disappointed as I didn’t realise that access to the pool with kids is only between 9am - 1pm so we had to move our plans around and take the kids the following morning. The room was fantastic, it was spotless and very spacious. It was nice and warm and included all the necessary essentials to make it a comfortable stay. The leisure centre is impeccably maintained and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to use again in the future. "
