Wonderful property!
The property is perfect, has everything for a comfortable stay and is in a great location. Mark is very communitive, very easy check-in and helps with any questions. We would definitely come back to this cottage again when visiting Holland MI.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very clean and has been renovated beautifully. The house has a lovely, private setting while being close to the beach and downtown Holland. We traveled in early December, so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the beach, but we certainly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub!

Beautiful and clean home!
We stayed here for my in law's 70th. It was a great place to hang out together and celebrate. Everyone was comfortable. The place was very open and airy and clean. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and frisbee golf. Would highly recommend! Very responsive host!

Over all our stay was great. Mark was great to work with and very attentive to our stay. We enjoyed the area and the location to all the activities. The only thing that was disappointing was the pull out couch was broke but the previous renters had broken the bed. Just bad timing I suppose. Thank you for a wonderful visit! Definitely recommend!

Get Away at Hideaway
Located on a spacious lot, bordered by beautiful trees, both indoor and outdoor areas of the Chic Hideaway were impeccable. From the moment we confirmed our trip, our guest contact Mark was ready to assist. He met us at the property and walked us through all the indoor and outdoor amenities, which have been upgraded and can be seen on the website. The cottage itself was spacious and inviting. All the appliances worked beautifully, as did the Wifi, with clear directions posted. Our group enjoyed the hot tub and the large firepit, which was stocked with fire starters and firewood on the rack nearby. The location was about 14 minutes from downtown Holland, which is a delightful city. The nature paths nearby were scenic and invigorating and the beach was a short drive away. The Chic Hideaway was perfect for our group of seven and we would definitely reserve this cottage again.

Perfect Place for a Mini-Vacation
The home is beautifully furnished and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like a useful guidebook to the home and surrounding area and guest toiletries. It is in a quiet area for visiting with friends and enjoying the weather, with easy access to restaurants, shops and activities in nearby Holland, Douglas and Saugatuck. The best thing: a lovely spacious screen porch. We will be back. (Note: we did not cook during our visit - too short a stay and too many nearby restaurants.)

More than you could think of!
We knew the home looked nice online but there were so many pleasant surprises. Mark thought of everything including the fun disc golf course, wonderful firepit including the wood and starter materials. The home is comfortable, beds cozy and our adult kids love the smell and feel of the bedding. Beach towels, hot tub, high chair, pack n play. Bring your food and that's all you need. Thank you for a fun and comfortable holiday weekend!

Amazing, comfortable and immaculate home!
We had such a wonderful experience staying at Mark’s gorgeous, like-new and recently totally renovated rental. He thought of literally everything to make the stay wonderful. A bottle of wine upon arrival, some light snacks, chargers, a well stocked keurig, tons and tons of plush towels and extra bedding, toiletries in the bathrooms, plenty of hangers (for our group of girlfriends, priceless!).. it was a lovely stay. He has both board games and outdoor games for the cute backyard, which is equipped with lots of fairy lights. Also, the a/c worked very well for a hot Michigan summer. The location is equidistant to downtown Holland or Saugatuck - about 12-15 minutes to either. Would definitely stay here again and/or recommend to others!

We thoroughly enjoyed a week of vacation here. The owner recently put a 9-hole disc golf course in, provides plenty of wood for bonfires, and has done a remarkable job renovating this property. He seems to have thought of every detail and provides several amenities for guests' convenience. The hot tub was very relaxing as was the screen porch. The WiFi worked well and, during an outage, the owner was responsive and promptly worked to resolve the issue.

Best trip ever!
My family and I rented this property for a week this summer! We were amazed. It was the cleanest rental property we’ve ever stayed at. Every detail of the house was beautiful! It was straight out of a magazine! And to top it off it was wheelchair accessible for my daughter. It was easy to get her in and out of the house and so easy to move around inside the house. Tons of space and airy! We cannot wait to rent again!

This home is nicely remodeled and has a peaceful and well organized back yard to enjoy time outside. The location is perfect when you prefer a more remote relaxing vibe. And it’s close enough to Beaches, restaurants , shopping and other things to do. The owner was helpful and very responsive. Overall, a great weekend away!

Wonderful Weekend
We were in town for a family wedding. The location for this property was perfect. It was a short drive (15 minutes) to the downtown area. The house was just as it appears in the listing. Everything was very clean and seemed very new. One small problem, the sprinklers came on a 5:00 a.m. and hit against the window in the primary bedroom. Problem solved once we figured out what it was! Used the firepit each night. No lights or noise from neighbors. Very peaceful location. Check in and check out was a breeze! Thank you for a great weekend!

Wonderful!
We had a lovely stay! The owner checked in with us upon arrival by text. He was very quick to respond to any of our questions. The house was very clean and organized with everything you need - dishes, cooking/grilling equipment and even spices. There is a Keurig with a great assortment of coffee in addition to tea. There are very nice upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms. We used the grill and fit pit which were lovely to end the night with s'mores. At night, we turned on the outdoor string lights which was a great place to relax. There was even extra bug spray and fire starter. He has firewood for you to use. The yard was huge and our kids loved running around in it! The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and rooms had great space. The kids especially loved the bunk beds. The master is a walk out to the back porch. The screened in porch was a great place to have meals and relax at the end of the night while keeping the mosquitoes out. The owner thought of all of the extras - extra beach towels, plenty of bath towels, camping chairs, coffee creamers, and a lovely bottle of wine! He had a very nice TV (although we didn't really use it) and a gas fireplace. We were 6 minutes from the closest beach and 20 minutes from Holland state park. Everything was very accessable. It's a great house in a great location! Highly recommend!!
