"It's a real shame because the chalet has potential. But there is no investment/maintenance of it. The toilet is plagued with mould. There is nearly no storage so if you go for longer than a weekend, it is a challenge to have to live out of bags. The chalet seems to be one of the only ones that has not been painted recently. "Wonderful little chalet, which is furnished with a lovely seaside theme. Lovely and clean. The beds were super comfy. The London Inn is located a 5-minute walk away which is dog friendly, has friendly staff and good food. The Chalet is in a great location for visiting Bude and Widemouth. "A lodge in a quiet location about 2 miles from Bude. A spacious lodge with all the things that you might need for a self catering stay. The lodge is accessed from a flight of 18 steps some of which were covered in loose gravel. Not a particular problem for us but could well be deal breaker for older holiday makers.
