"Lovely place, very clean and comfortable rooms. We had a a bit of an issue at check in, we had booked a family room which turned out to be a double bed and a trundle bed which they brought up. The trundle bed was not fit for purpose really, it didn't look safe to sleep on. Couldn't fault the staff or the manager though, they were very helpful and made sure to try and resolve the issue for us straight away. "A great country inn. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "
