"I absolutely loved my stay at the Rochester Hotel in Durango. The charm of the property, the warm and welcoming staff, and the overall comfort made it an unforgettable experience. The hotel has such a unique character—it’s stylish, cozy, and perfectly maintained. What really stood out to me was how pet-friendly they are. Traveling with my dogs can be hit or miss, but the Rochester made it seamless. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor areas were perfect for a quick walk. The location is also unbeatable—just a short stroll to restaurants, shops, and trails, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, and every team member I encountered was helpful and kind. Highly recommend this gem in Durango. I’ll definitely be back!"

"I loved everything about this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially if you’re traveling with kids. The room was clean and spacious. The free included breakfast was delicious and had a great spread of hot and cold options, including fresh fruit. There was plenty of parking. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are a bonus. And all of the staff were friendly and professional. We very much enjoyed our stay. Some reviews indicated the noise level was an issue because the rooms enter into an atrium where the pool is. I didn’t personally have an issue with noise levels at any time during our 4 night stay. If you’re an extremely light sleeper, perhaps you’d be better off in a hotel that doesn’t have an atrium area."

"The young lady who worked at the desk in the evenings was gem. So friendly and helpful. The tavern on site was wonderful. Room service and cleaning was top notch. The kids loved playing in the pool. I thought the paying for parking was a little off putting, but no big deal in comparison to our great stay :) "
