"Room and stay was comfortable - had to wait more than 10 minutes to check in AND at the time I was the only one at the registration desk. There was no acknowledgment as to why I was waiting g for a while although two persons were behind the desk- and I prepaid for my stay online - help me figure that one out! "

"First time staying at the property and was very pleased. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. The property and room were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. Instant hot water and great water pressure. The room ammentiites were adequate. Plenty of food options on the property. I highly recommend 18 Steak and the Lotus restaurants. The food was prepared very well and the service was excellent. Visited the ESPN Sports bar for breakfast and lunch. I preferred the breakfast over the lunch. The omelette and breakfast platters were spot on and very good. I was not as impressed with the lunch options. In the casino all the dealers are very personable and great to interact with. It is a smaller casino but had a great selection of various games to play. I highly recommend giving this property a chance when in the area. All in all a 4.8 out of 5 stars. "

"Used this hotel at attend the Baton Rouge Blues Festival. Very convenient, easy walk to all of the stages. Very nice room. Plenty of countertop space. Nice shower. Great blackout shades on the plentiful windows. The restaurant & bar are nice, but not cheap. They wouldn't valet my car because I had a bike/rack on the back (city lot less than a block away saved me $50 for my 3-day stay)."

"The bartender was not great he spent more time on his laptop then serving. I had to ask other patrons for their menu then flag him down to order food and a drink. There were only 5 people at the bae."
