"Everything was as described in the listing. The house is gorgeous, very clean, and had all of the amenities that we required. We had a very nice welcome when we arrived and got a tour of the house. We came from Heidelberg, at Christmas time, to this beautiful house in the hills of Odenwald. It was so quiet and the stars were absolutely gorgeous. Also, this area is situated very close to many castles. We were thankful for that because we love visiting castles. I recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet getaway in any season. There is more going on in the summertime in Wald-Michelbach, but we enjoyed the winter time as well. If you have a manual transmission in your car/rental be ready to drive the hills and switchbacks. There is lots of fun driving in the area. Thank you to the host who provided a beautiful home with an amazing view! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, it was beautiful, homey, and spacious. We utilized the kitchen, which while small, had all the amenties. The balconies were great, especially the one in the back. The living room and bedrooms had lots of space and storage. The host was super responsive, and very helpful and knowledgeable, and dealt with my terrible german very well. The one note I'd make (and may have missed when reading the description) is how many stairs are involved. It was not an issue for us, but there are a lot of stairs after a long day hiking, which I overlooked when reading. TLDR, would recommend, would gladly stay again."

"Our stay here was so perfect that we added an extra day. Very clean. Host extremely responsive, kind & helpful. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Our sons loved having the upstairs to themselves, we enjoyed the entrance deck for morning coffee & meals. Views were stunning. Location perfect for hopping back and forth to Heidelberg. Neckargemünd also has a lovely little village to explore and the apartment is just a block away from Forest hikes in a beautiful neighborhood. The onsite parking was a bonus. Will recommend to all friends and family traveling in this area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
