It was a little far away from the city centre and shops, unless you have a car it is a rather long walk up hill from the city centre! However, the staff were really friendly, the room was big and the shower water lovely hot. Very quiet area and good, German, breakfast.

Friendly owners, the room with every needed equipment, not brand new but well enough. On the menu even six different meals for vegetarians and to very reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet with everything I like to eat.

The restaurant on site was excellent. We ate there both nights, Possibly the best dinners of our trip, and very reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and quiet. Great parking. Enjoyed the City Museum.

Sehr gute Küche und sehr freundliche Gastleute. Das Hotel ist leider schon in die Jahre gekommen und manche Zimmer würden eine Renovierung benötigen. Jedoch muss man sagen, dass die Betten sehr bequem sind und das Zimmer sauber war.

Die Grundbedürfnisse werden abgedeckt
Die guten Dinge: Ich habe für überschaubares Geld gut geschlafen, das Bett war bequem, das Badezimmer sauber, das Wasser in der Dusche warm. Meine Grundbedürfnisse waren abgedeckt. Auf der anderen Seite konnte das Gasthaus nicht überzeugen. Es waren viele Kleinigkeiten, die in ihrer Gesamtheit einen schlechten Eindruck hinterlassen. Der Betreiber berichtete als erstes und beinahe anschuldigend davon, dass das Internet nicht ginge und er daher keine Infos über die zu erwartenden Gäste hätte. Der Ordner mit Informationen zum Gasthaus war handschriftlich aktualisiert –man konnte allerdings nicht alles lesen. So war das WLAN-Passwort unleserlich. Auch sonst bin ich nicht ins WLAN gekommen. Die „normale“ Einstellung des Duschkopfs funktionierte nicht. Das Frühstück war lieblos angerichtet, die Brötchen schienen vom Vortag zu sein. Auch Wurst und Käse sahen nicht gerade einladend aus. Auf dem Tresen standen wie am Vorabend benutzte Gläser und leere Flaschen. Die ganze Gaststube sah wenig einladend, weil ziemlich unaufgeräumt aus. Vor dem Kaminofen lag ziemlich viel Unrat, die Stühle standen kreuz und quer, unter einem Tisch lag ein benutztes Taschentuch, auf den Tisch standen Vasen mit jeweils einer verwelkten Blume. Fazit: Die Unterkunft ist in Ordnung, um unterzukommen. Wer jedoch – zumindest ein bisschen – Freundlichkeit und Gemütlichkeit sucht, für den ist das nichts. Bei den Betreibern hat man nicht den Eindruck, als würden sie sich besonders Mühe geben.
