Another block added from the pub gets you to the convenience/grocery store. Another block along the river gets you to the manor house and gardens. Lovely room at the lodge, nice breakfast delivered in the mornings. Great staff, internet in the room. Parking lot within grounds. Local taxis available. Bolt available to the property...

"Excellently run by Al who showed me around and gave an personal rundown of restaurants, grocery stores and pubs in the area. Breakfast cereals, milk and bread is provided along with butter and lots of tea and coffee. The bedrooms rooms are small but functional with irons, ironing boards, TV, kettle, plenty of sockets and hairdryer to let a few of everything provided The ensuite is nicely finished and again has additional items provided that just give it that thoughtful edge. "Doesn’t look great from the outside but fine inside as long as you’re not in one of the “upper floor” rooms of this dormer bungalow type house. Low sloped ceilings. Not ideal for a tall person. Facilities very good, plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a nice sun room were you can eat your meals."
