"AVOID THIS HOTEL. First, they changed the date of our stay to six months later for no reason at all. Had to call Hotel.com to rectify it. Second, when we checked in I offered my credit card to pay the bill but was told not to worry so I assumed they had debited my card already. The hotel staff speak NO English so it was impossible to confirm. The next day I ordered a taxi to take us to the aiport and halfway there, the driver got a call from the hotel saying we hadnt paid the bill despite the fact we had been sitting opposite the front desk for half an hour waiting for the taxi. They wanted to charge twice the amount on the paperwork which I refused to pay this amount but offered the driver only the amount on the paperwork once we reached the aiport as it seemed they had not debited my card An obvious rip-off. And to add insult to injury the driver they sent tried to charge us €15 for a ten minute drive. After some discussion he finally accepted €10. This place is a rip-off. Avoid at all cost PS The breakfast was terrible. "

"Very tidy and most comfortable one night stay in the mountains in of Mount Nemrut. Had no idea what to expect given the isolation of this hotel. We were so pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of staff, the spotlessly clean rooms and comfy mattress and pillows. The shower was perfect. What more could we ask for? Dinner prepared from scratch, a wood burning bread oven, the list goes on.. "

"We were visiting the area to see Nemrut Dag and the Kahta Castle. Please note this is a more remote mountain hotel run by family (I think). That means you are getting peace, serenity, nature and proximity to Nemrut Dag. I've stayed in numerous mountain hotels and this was perfect. They are remodeling after the earthquake and doing renovations. Please contact them for directions to their location. Also contact them in advance to discuss food - they have a fantastic array of homemade meals but a little heads up helps as everything comes from far away. We would definitely stay again. Simple lodgings, wonderful food, excellent hospitality and great location."

"The Karadut Pansyion is a lovely guest house, with a view is stunning , and fabulous host. Our host was waiting for us where the mini-bus dropped us off, with a warm greeting and ride to his pansyion. All of the meals were home cooked and tasty. Our host also took us up to Mt Nemrut at sunrise and arranged a tour of the area. We loved watching cows and sheep walk down the village street. "

"Our triple room had four beds, two were never made. Lots of dust & webs in room. Two pillows did not have pillow covers & quilts were not clean had hairs from previous guests. We did not feel like using the quilts and had to sleep wearing jackets & socks. There was a bug on the bed."
