"These cottages and the island are a piece of the history of this area and we were thrilled with our stay. Very rustic and unspoiled - Pat made us feel 100% welcome :) Everything we could want or need was readily available … canoes, bicycles, wood for the outdoor campfire or woodstove in the cottage all included - she even made sure we knew where to find the best view of the sunset! We wanted a rustic, comfy, unspoiled place to stay and this place delivered that experience 100%. We would have loved to stay longer and experience staying at the lighthouse that’s for sure!"

"One of the most beautiful and peaceful homes we have been in. Spacious and relaxing inside with gorgeous views of Lake Huron and so peaceful outside due to the secluded location. Absolutely enjoyed the cats, Ruby and Robby, they just added a homey touch. The communication with Joy was outstanding and she answered any questions quickly. Would recommend this property to anyone!"
