our room was on the 2nd floor and it seemed like we were in a treehouse. the outside stairs made clear sound inside our room. beds were clean and nice. floor could have used a vacuum. overall it was a nice stay.

This is an older motel with refurbished suites. Spotlessly clean with gorgeous new bathrooms. If you are looking for hotel-like service like room service, this is not for you. The restaurant has great food, awesome staff. I found the room quite quiet even though the motel was full. It is centrally located with lots of home style food nearby. We went to the Bruce Mines Fall Fair and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great trip overall.

Staff was very friendly, check in was easy and room was very clean. Only issue we had was getting the tv to work. Turns out both the batteries for the remote and the remote itself were faulty; however the staff were very helpful and rectified the problem.

Quiet retrieve.

This motel is located in a quiet village. Nonetheless, it is located right by the marina and a two minute walk to a very splendid museum. At the museum staff give you an insightful tour, and near by are beautiful trails. We stayed two nights to decompress after a long journey. The owner is very nice and accommodated us with dogs, and was very reasonable. There are also a few lovely shops to meadier about if you would like to. We would stay again for an overnight before making the next leg to Thunder Bay from the London area again. Thank you!

It was good and what we expected for a motor inn. Room amenities were fine - appreciated small fridge. Bed was comfortable but missing top sheet. No onsite breakfast but nearby Doris’s diner attached to gas station was a good hearty breakfast.

In the middle of being updated. Our suite was brand new and very nice. Comfortable beds. Great service. Good price. Also, rave to the Cosmos Pizza restaurant on site. Loved it and super convenient.

It's obvious that the owners don't care about this place just a little paint to cover the stains, new blankets that aren't full of holes and replacing the deteriorated lamp would help and not cost that much. This motel is in really bad shape for the price. The location is nice though

Not a great place. Curtains were literally moth eaten. Bathtub faucet was falling off. Bug droppings all around the windows. Renovations are clearly DIY with terrible fit and finish. Location is good and bed was very comfortable. Great pizza at the restaurant.

The owners are very kind and courteous. On checking in we were advised to request room cleans if needed as we were staying a few days. It is not done daily which is totally understandable as most guests are overnites. The room was very clean, fresh linens, quite comfortable. It is conveniently located right in Bruce Mines in front of marina. Close to all ammenities etc. The owners are constantly updating the motel and are doing a really great job at the renovations. The rates are very reasonable. This is now our second stay and will definitely return when necessary. Good job Bavarian Inn.....keep up the great work.

Priced high for a small town motel.

The outside siding is being updated, the car park area is okay. The marina is behind the motel and offers a nice walk about. The rooms have been upgraded and are quite good, the king bed was comfortable, the flooring very nice. The shower curtain was mouldy at the bottom and needs replacing with a detachable bottom as in other hotels, also a curved shower rod would be a good idea. The tub/shower had a mat for safety, just be careful since the floor tiles are high gloss. I was expecting something more for the price, but as with everything since Covid, the prices aren’t coming down. The owner was okay but could maybe be a little more engaging, if I ran a small service business, I would be super friendly to encourage more business. There is a restaurant but we decided to share the business with another local business. The WiFi was touch and go but we managed.
