"My family and I decided to getaway for the weekend. Obviously, the dead of winter is most likely not the best time to go to Ricketts Glen, but it certainly fulfilled our needs. The cabin had everything we needed and things that were up our alley, like a dated TV and DVD player (oldie but a goodie), foosball table was clutch, and the fireplace was essential. Will look to be back for warmer weather—cheers!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Elk Creek Escape. The pictures were very accurate to the current cabin. The hosts were responsive before our stay and when we were on our way. They were friendly and helped us to check in and find a place to eat. The McCarty Mercantile they suggested for breakfast had the BEST biscuits! Thank you for having us!"

"I took my mom here for a short weekend trip. We drove around and then stayed in both nights - played cards and games. The facility was great and dealing with Greg was quick to answer any questions. The place was quite cozy. "

"We always enjoy our stay at Don’s cabin. Quiet neighborhood for hanging outside by the fire pit and nature. And cozy and warm inside at night for watching football."

"It was a comfy and cozy cabin in the woods. Kitchen was well supplied and all linens and towels were provided which was amazing. They had a hot tub which was nice. We did have a small hiccup with the water pressure, but the hosts were on it and had someone out the next morning to fix the issue. The cabin was clean. We will definitely consider this cabin for another stay. "

"My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a very nice time. It’s a bit farther back in the woods than I expected, but it gave us a lot of privacy which was appreciated! It was nice and cozy and I loved being able to sit by the electric fireplace and play games. Daryl gave great directions to the cabin and was very communicative and helpful! "

"This was a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Connie went above and beyond to make our stay special. She accomodated my requests and added a few extras which made our stay exceptional. "

"Property is exactly as shown - a cozy cabin tucked in the woods. The cabin is tastefully decorated and all conventional items were available. Property was immaculate. Perfect quiet getaway for two adults."

"The property was great, and in a nice location. The interior, and exterior of the house was very neat, and clean. We had to reach out to the property owner once, and they were very courteous, and accommodating. A great place for us ! "

"Amazing property and great spot to hang out for the weekend. We cooked our meals since restaurants were 20 minutes away but kitchen had everything we would need. Short drive to great state parks and would stay there again!"

"If you are a regular to the region, the house is located in a place that offers easy access to many of the areas amenities. It is also privet with great stream access and a nice view. House itself is very comfortable and had all we needed."
