"Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe...

"Staff were lovely. Although not quite prepared for our arrival, they sprung into action to prepare our rooms. Rooms were clean and spacious and had basic furniture and en-suite shower rooms. Air con in bedroom. Stairs only, up to the second floor. Lovely balcony with overhanging roof to reduce any rain coming onto balcony. Small but clean pool and always a sun bed available when we wanted one. Small bar area. About 800m to nearest section of beach but a bit further to supermarket and beaches,...

"Really friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Very relaxing vibe. Spotted lots of birds without moving from our balcony. Although in peaceful location, easy to get tuk tuk to busier resort area. "

"Had a really nice stay here, key positives were really lovely staff, great proximity to the beach and clean rooms. We didn't eat here so can't comment on food. My only small gripe was that the internet was quite poor. This made it really difficult for me to work from here. I ended up using my mobile hotspot as the wifi was too inconsistent. "
