I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home to get away from it all!!"

"Very convenient for those coming to UW Platteville. Under ground parking is very nice plus elevators to go up to your floor from underground parking. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable "

"This is a great little motel. Very charming atmosphere for those of us who appreciate the good old days! Owner was not there the evening of my stay but there was another gentleman covering who was very kind. I wasn’t looking for fancy, just a nice clean bed and shower facilities. This worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"The Glass House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house itself is cozy and is stocked with the necessities. Easy check-in/check-out process and great communication from the host. The property around the house is incredible, plenty of walking trails to enjoy. It feels like your own private wildlife sanctuary. Perfect location if you enjoy birding and wildlife."
