The property has been updated with all of the modern amenities to make it feel like your home away from home! Whether you’re here for a short visit or an extended stay, you’ll have everything you need in this fully furnished vacation rental. There are three separate levels of living space and efficiency kitchens on each level, so guests can have privacy on their own floor or everyone can gather together on the main floor. Location is key with this property located only 1/2 block away from the City Square and within walking distance to several restaurants, bars, shopping and the historic Lory Theater. Great group house
Large property well suited to big groups. It’s really a tri-plex that’s been renovated into a single dwelling, but it almost feels like 3 separate apartments, with bathrooms and kitchens on each level, and two living areas. Great for spreading out!

This was a great option for 5 couples for a wedding weekend. Be aware that there are lots of stairs . 2 of the rooms only had a curtain between them. Beautiful home and all the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We made breakfast for everyone and played cards .

Highland gem!
This home is so perfect for our family reunions. It has just enough space for those of us coming from out of town. The location is perfect. And Jennifer, our host, is so incredibly accommodating and kind. This was our second year staying there, and I hope it will always be available in the future.

Best place for several large families
I can not even describe how perfect of A place this is for A large multi family stay. There are rooms in basement, ground, and 2nd floor. Each floor has bathroom and A kitchen. (Top floor is efficiency kitchen). The place has 3 doors on the back to go directly into each floor. Clean place with plenty of towels. We celebrated our daughters wedding at Wicks event center that was mile away. This place allowed family tone together for the weekend.

Great House!
We stayed here as a waypoint to the eclipse. Our party size dwindled from 11 down to 4 so we each had about 3 beds to choose from, and a bathroom each of our own. Highland is a nice little Swiss village and we enjoyed the proximity to the village square.

Super cozy and spacious for people!
We rented this lovely place for the girls during our wedding weekend at The Olde Wicks Factory. Super quick drive to the venue and the place was excellent! Coffee and bathrooms on every floor made for a very quick easy morning. Tons of beds and still very spacious.

Nice to be able to walk to so many spots [park, square, etc], perfect for stroller rides with family. The owner was so kind to work with us on our departure time to accommodate the baby's nap schedule. Plenty of space and the main bedroom mattress was super comfy!

Our family came together from across the country to celebrate a milestone bday for our father. Highland is our hometown and this home was a great venue for us all to gather, enjoy family time and celebrate. The home is spacious with plenty of room both inside and out. It is decorated so cute and very homey. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to gather here again in the future.

Family baby shower
My family and I flew in from Florida with a new grand baby to attend a family baby shower for a short trip. We were going to stay at a hotel but found this wonderful place that allowed us all to be together in the same house. Plenty of room and also provided a extra room to have a place for the baby during nap time. Was in walking distance to restaurants, bars and stores. My family and I loved it. Host was very helpful for all my questions and needs.

Outstanding Home!
We are 5 60+ years old college friends who got together on our annual visit to watch the Cubs/Cardinals, play cards, eat and visit with each other. This home was perfect for that!!! A room for everyone and then some. The home was spotless, had absolutely everything we would have wanted or needed and was very close to many good places to eat in this very quaint little town. 5-star all of the way!!! Thank you!!! Highest recommendation!!
