"This has always been a nice hotel to stay in, very central in Inverness and right alongside the railway station (which is why I use it, as a resident elsewhere in the Highlands). It was grand once, and they are working hard to keep it in good condition, but it has a slightly worn feel, with signs of damp around the shower for example. "Lovely hotel, and the dinner was best dinner we had on our trip, it was fresh and delicious. The only criticism we have is that we asked for twin beds and we had a double (me and my son)"

"It was a little difficult for us to find, but once we did, we checked in without issue. I knew ahead of time there was no elevator, but there were several flights of exterior stairs. We had an odd back door that opened to a straight drop down and view of a wall. Parking was very easy on site. Definitely walkable with places to eat and shop! "

"I liked the hotel location. Staff were friendly. Very dusty public areas. The breakfast was definately not as shown on website, limited fruit items available and lots of greasy items. We chose not to have breakfast in hotel because of this even though we had paid for it."
