"We loved our stay here. Mark and Kat were responsive and thoughtful hosts (a lovely cream tea welcomed us on arrival). The house had plenty of space for our large group. We liked the private and green location. And we were welcomed everytime we got back to the house by three super friendly dogs who we well in love with! "Lots of instruction from the owner on how to get in and maintain the property etc. Property is very spacious and well maintained and has a beautiful view. Excellent communication from the owner too. Maybe would have liked to see some basics supplied such as tea and long life milk. Also as a tall person i hit my head on light fittings a few times, as well as the angled walls. Overall an excellent property."

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

Highly recommended

"The hotel sits in about the best location in Newquay, overlooking the town and the sea. The hotel itself is an imposing older building and is absolutely gorgeous inside, the room I had was a great size with a very comfortable bed. All the staff are very friendly and amazing with nothing too much trouble for them to sort out. This is the first time I've stayed here but it won't be the last."
